It has a 2.0 litre TSI turbocharged engine and will be mated to a six speed transmission. The Sharan will be able to produce 200 BHP. It will be able to reach 0 – 62 MPH in just 8.3 seconds.
High level of equipment
There is high level equipment included as standard including a RNS510 TFT display touch screen which controls the satellite navigation system, neat electric sliding doors which are remotely operated and a three zone climatronic air conditioning system. The vehicle is highly safety conscious holding nine airbags. The electric sliding doors are not compromised for safety either, containing a pinch protection functions. The RNS510 is highly advanced, coming with a SD card reader, a 30 GB hard drive, a DVD drive and USB and aux-in connectivity ability.
The vehicle contains wonderfully luxurious features too, including Vienna leather upholstery which contains titanium silver details upon the front door and the dashboard.
With every seat row, there are two cup holders which will come in handy. To gain protection from heat in the summer, there are roll up sunshades for the rear windows.
Park Assist Parallel Parking
There is a Park Assist parallel parking system, adding to the car’s great list of safety equipment. The Park Distance Control (PDC) is another wonderful safety tool utilising a rear view camera. This is the first every Volkswagen vehicle which contains Park Assist 2.0. Many more are expected to contain the intelligent technology in the future.
Electronic panoramic sunroof

As mentioned earlier the car is very safety orientated. There will be ESP, EBD, ABS as well brake assist all included as standard. There will be an electronic differential lock, an anti-slip regulator, an Engine Drag Torque Control (EDTC) as well as a Trailer Roll Stabilisation Program (TRSP).
